Pondering
Why is it when a "dating" relationship ends it's viewed as simply not working out and when a marriage ends it's viewed as a failure?

So much drama swirling around in my head...I needed a place to let it loose. Welcome to my blog. If you are offended or turned off by something you read...please find another blog. This is *my* place to process everything floating around in my head.

Good question. The little piece of paper makes a huge difference in one's mindset doesn't?
I think it depends on how you personally view it vs how others view it. When you're married most people feel you're suppose to make it work no matter what, but if you're dating, well you're just dating, and that's too bad it didn't work out blah blah blah...
But then what about those that live together for years and break up?
Good pondering stuff...
Usually a dating relationship does not have as much at stake emotionally, financially, etc. as does a marriage; hence the difference in impact in those areas when either does not work out, regardless of the cause.
